I began with the standard mode of migration. Over the next few days, I transferred most of the applications, settings, and files. Complete with source and destination folders, I got all moved. Within a few days, I had the system optimized and ready for my first upgrade from XP to Vista. Ten years of the Vista experience, and I?ll be right back where I started!
I originally contacted them to transfer my PC to a newer build. I already tried a number of other cheaper and fairly used software packages. Unfortumately, none were successful. The program is fairly cheap, but the transfer time is much longer. It works with all machines in the Windows family. The program is fairly user friendly. In my case, I could do the transfer, but had to use their support. Their support is very good. The whole process was fairly painless, and when I was done, it was low impact on the system! I recommend this wonderful program.
I bought the form of migration. I connected the source and destination computers. I set the time. I began the programs I wanted transfer. The transfer was fairly painless. I had the proper programs for the migration. I did notice that the time was a little longer than I expected. I have a Windows 7 Pro. Not long after the migration, I tried to get a trial of the program. Unfortunately, that one could not be found.
I used Migration support tool and it worked better than what any other software I tried. It did a great job of managing both the files AND the configuration of my system. I highly recommend this tool.
I tried the trial, but it was very bad from the beginning. I was asked for money because I had not upgraded since 2003. For the way the always walk off in the street nor do any documentation. I had a good trial it is better than moving current if you are moving to Vista. d2c66b5586
